AAJA Host Rules, Violations & Levels Explained

The rules that decide whether your account stays open, whether your income is settled, and how many calls you receive.

General violations

These are everyday mistakes on calls. The policy illustrates five, and the Host Manual adds four more:

ViolationHow to avoid it
Doing other things while workingStay focused on the call. No phone scrolling or laptop work.
Face not shown on cameraUse a phone holder and keep your face in frame.
Multiple people on cameraWork alone, in a private space.
Live or on a call while asleepLeave work mode before you rest.
Working in a dark environmentFace a window or a lamp.
Poor environmentChoose a tidy, quiet space.
Lack of interaction during callsGreet users and keep the conversation going.
Poor signalWork where your network is stable.
Falling asleep during callsWork during hours when you’re alert.

Penalties: two versions

The policy describes penalties for general violations in two places, and they differ:

Rules for hostess (Part two)

  • First, a warning
  • 3 warnings in one day: banned from going live for 24 hours
  • 5 warnings in total: permanent ban

Host Manual

  • Each warning: 1,000-diamond penalty
  • More than four warnings: permanent ban
  • Unbanning: 10,000-diamond penalty

The policy doesn’t say which version takes priority. Either way, warnings add up quickly. Follow any notice the app shows you.

Serious violations

  • Teenagers, children or infants under 18 appearing during live sessions or calls is strictly prohibited.
  • Drug use, or any illegal drug behaviour, during calls is strictly prohibited.
  • Sending offensive words or actions to users during calls is strictly forbidden.

If you are banned for serious violations 3 times in one day, or 5 times in total, your account is banned permanently.

Instant permanent ban or suspension

  • Permanent ban: your account being used by someone else.
  • Permanent ban: obtaining diamonds illegally or fraudulently, or colluding with others for malicious refunds.
  • Immediate suspension: sending WhatsApp numbers, creating a second account, or acting as a fake host.

Revenue that isn’t settled

Separately from bans, the Weekly Base Salary Plan notes that the platform blocks hosts who don’t appear on camera, or who send other platforms’ numbers, and their revenue is not settled. Breaking these rules can cost you money you’ve already earned.

Host levels: X, S, A, B, C

The app’s Level Description says your level directly affects the order in which you receive calls. There are five levels, ranked X > S > A > B > C.

  1. Level X is the starting level. Once you are upgraded from it, you can’t return to it.
  2. Levels are assessed daily on the duration and quality of your calls, and updated early in the morning.
  3. The higher your level, the higher your priority for new user connections.

The Host Manual adds one practical rule: keep your average call above 60 seconds to stay at S-level and receive more calls. Specific level rules follow the platform’s latest policy.

Habits that keep you safe and busy

From the policy’s tips for getting calls:

  • Greet each user first, guide the conversation, and answer questions politely and warmly.
  • Don’t start without any conversation. Build rapport first.
  • Aim to keep every call longer than 60 seconds.
  • When a call ends, send the user a thank-you message, and maybe ask when they’re free to talk again.
